● This is a video for my friend Lenaleska ^^ Her birthday was in august but I promised her I'll do something, so here it is ! I'm very late, yes xD ^^"

● WMM gave me all the problems I ever known with this software for the making of this video : Clips which disappear, big decalage with the music, an eternity to wait between every action, bug all five minutes, etc. So, this was really a HELL to make. I'm glad it's finally done. Even if I don't like the final result now...

Here is the story of this video :

When Zack meets Cloud for the first time, he learns that he wants to join the SOLDIER and that he despairs passing it. Zack, moved by this boy who looks a little like him and who shares the same dreams as his, sympathizes with him. He encourages him and cheers up for him. This is the beginning of their friendship and then, their relation as lovers. But as time flies, Zack learns more and more about SOLDIERS and comes the day of Angeal's death. Zack is broken. Needing to be lonely, he runs away from Cloud because he doesn't want his friend to be a SOLDIER anymore. To be a monster with bloody hands and curse.
Alone, they think to each other and then, they need to see themselves again and have an explanation. So they do, and reconciliate, before Zack's death which, instead of opening Cloud's eyes, drives him in deep hurt and madness.

The video can be cut in four parts :

● First a little summary of both Zack and Cloud's fates, which shows how they met and the evolution of their relationship in the same time. This quickly melt on Angeal's death, Zack's despair, his isolement and his flight from Cloud.

● Then, Zack and Cloud, after their fight, suffer and lock themselves in their thoughts. Thoughts which will lead them to the wishing of coming back to the other, to be forgiven for Zack, and to understand and being listened for Cloud.

● Then comes the confrontation. Zack, while apologizing for his behaviour, explains that because he doesn't want Cloud to know the same tragic and cruel fate as SOLDIERS' one, and because he needed time to think after Angeal's death, he suddenly ran away from him and asked him to give up on his dreams. Concerning Cloud, he makes Zack understand that he's determined to join SOLDIER, whatever happens and whatever Zack can think about this. It's Zack himself who gave him confidence. Zack, then, understands Cloud's feelings and as he smiles to him, he tells him that he is not against that anymore and he heartily wishes him to realize his dream, he will always be by his side. Cloud is still doubting. He's confused because he thought Zack would have resisted to him. But what he just says has surprised him a lot and after some questions, he just has to admit that Zack has entirely come to his side. Both of them have reconciliated then and they now laugh together again.

● And finally, the last part focuses on Zack's death. SOLDIERS' fate is really cursed and this has costed Zack's life. Cloud cannot do anything but only cry. And instead of making him realize SOLDIERS' condition, Zack's death made him mad and broken. All he can repeat in his head now is that he's a SOLDIER. A SOLDIER with sky blue eyes...

I understand the feeling very well. I know they are fictional characters but they are so important to me that, somehow, they are always more than that for me too. Why are they so addictive ? I know so many people, like you and me, for who Zack and Cloud mean so much. Whenever I feel depressed, thinking to those two makes me happy, because I devoted myself so much on their relationship that they are now like a familiar presence in my head, my symbol of happiness. ^^

I love Cloud the most though.

If it weren't for them I would never have seen, heard, nor have met those two in the first place and would never have come this far with so many ideas with them.

Whenever I feel stressed, or fustrated, I always think about Cloud.
