Love this. She even said her favorite version of the song was Eva Cassidy's... No worries. LOL. She's given full credit to Eva... She said that when she heard Eva's version, it killed her and inspired her.

Well said. She is a rare artist who sings most every single song like her recordings...that's amazing when you consider how often they sing each song over and over. I think she puts such feeling/emotion into her songs and that makes for a great performance...

Perhaps Martina was inspired by her version or style. I agree it's simular. I love the clarity of Eva's voice, angelic. But my fav artist is Martina. Not only her voice but amazing consistency in her unbelievable live perfromances. Hearing her live is exactly like her recordings, which is hard to do. It is her passion for each word and song that makes it possible...
