discrimination is the only path to liberation. see : viveka kudamani by shankara. this discrimination has nothing to do with discriminating other people or believes, it talks about discriminating the true spiritual from the vulgar brain and lower nature. the veda teaches like that, i don't know where you got your standpoint, but its not well thought through, sorry.

the first and foremost thing that veda teaches is "not to discriminate" .. So pls do not discriminate..its people like you who make the average westerner think ..ill of our countries like india ..

also its not about who get to rules... its about sharing and caring.. and non discrimination// hope that makes sense.
