Where were the referees? How come the kid apparently guilty of multiple late hits wasn't booted from the game? This is in no way an excuse for the dad's behavior, but I coach youth football, and I'd be lighting up the refs, and have a video ready for the next league meeting.

i played on the redskins nd the kid who got late hit was the coaches son. his brother was injured because of the same kid doing a late hit. im not saying its right but learn ur facts first

ITS NOT OK. the refs should do theyre damn job and eject him. HOWEVER its worse when an "ADULT runs out and decides he is will discipline him. If I'm wrong them why did the man go to jail? If you research it you will find that the punk that threw the late hit had done so to other players more than just this incident. And if his parents aren't gonna teach him a lesson someone will. Hes a punk ass kid that needs to realize that hes not as badass as he thinks he is and someone will put him on his ass if hes not respectful to other people and other kids hes playing a GAME with.

If your kid cant ake it he shouldnt play and if you think the dad was justified in his actions, just do what he did and you will go to jail aswell.
