Poncho, a 30 year old double yellow headed amazon parrot, using a feather to scratch his head. He figured this out on his own, he's so smart :)

  • s/he is really concentrating. x)

  • this is more than just a parrot using tools. it's performing a feather transplant!

  • LOL. Looks happy.

  • lol, this is genius, watch the eye though.

  • My double yellow head (named kiwi) does stuff like this too. (except she doesnt use a feather, she uses her toys, pieces of wood from her toys, and my finger (she will grab my finger with her foot pull my finger to her head and lower her head telling me to pet her)

  • Cool parrot. He is really smart!

  • I for one welcome our new parrot overlords.

  • ( ̄▽ ̄) 可愛い♪

  • our parrot when we feed him he gets food all over his beak and he has those cages that have wood, so he rubs his beak against the wood

  • Either he is bored, or he has a serious itch! I think the latter! Good parrot!
