Is that Richard Patrick (Filter fame) on the guitar?
-
trent has a lyrical talent that is absent in many bands today.
-

@STANKYweaselTEETS Or maybe there is no "true meaning." Maybe they are intensionally ambiguous to apply to the most number of people and to therefore become more marketable.
-

I don't know man, a lot of these new bands are complete shit. Especially their names. Come on, Fall Out Boy? Panic at the Disco? Be Your Own Pet? As I Lay Dying? Cobra Starship? The Color Fred? Drop Dead Gorgeous? From First To Last?!?!?!?!?! Does anyone in their right mind, SEE A FUCKIN' PROBLEM HERE??? Not only do these bands have completely ridiculous names, their music is COMPLETE SHIT. Apparently its the cool thing when creating a band name to call it a 4 word PHRASE. It's fuckin' stupid.

I like how Trents lyrical style on some songs are ambiguous to most listeners. They could be drug use, women or even homosexuality references depending on how you interpret them.
You can argue all you want about the "true meaning" of these songs however only the person who put the ink onto the paper truely knows.
