Well I'm into audio recording and studio work and I don't think I've ever encountered a PC in the professional studios I've worked in. Do you have any ideas towards why this is?

Could you post a link to the studio you have worked at? I see postings for Cool Edit Pro editors. Cool Edit Pro/Audition is PC only. I went to interviews where PCs were used for the audio and video editing. I am not sure why you have not seen PCs being used but I have.

@adobePC I hope you don't think I'm bias against PC's because I'm looking for a quality computer system for my home studio that doesn't go to far into the high-end Mac price range. The studios in my area are both using 8 core Mac Pros and many of my friends with home studios are using the more expensive Macbook Pro's.

Please post a link to the studios you have visited. They should have images of their facility on the internet. You might want to watch my next video that will be up tuesday.

Just becuase some one has a Mac Pro does not mean they know how to do audio or video production. I think you will learn a lot when my next video posts.

The viewing angles for Apple's screens are a shitty argument, because they are super glossy and very reflective to begin with... So it kinda makes it pointless to buy an S-IPS screen when the material of the screen is NOT BUILT FOR GOOD VIEWING ANGLES. Also the screens are made by LG, not apple.

My pc is a i7 920 D0 on a Asus Rampage III Extreme, with 6GB RAM @ 1866, with a GTX 460 and a 22" Full HD LED screen. Well... 1300 euros was the cost. Actually compare it to a rendering test with blender i got 6.5 secs VS 35 secs on a 4500 euro macpro. almost 5 times faster with almost 1/4 of the price. In my opinion... Macs are overates bullshits. Only design, but when it comes to making he job done, they suck. I encode a 1.5 hour video in 7 mins while the 4500 euro mac needs 21 minutes...

@lTheShieldl Look at the whole screen, next to it is a 10 dollar instant rebate (NewEgg does this alot) So the price WAS 29.99.

Lol, applesolider included extra usbs. That is a fail since even a cheap $45 motherboard has like 6 ports on the back. More than what a shitty mac can imagine. Hell, my dad's 2009 15" macbook pro that costed $2000 has only 2 usb ports. Our old dell pentium-2 laptop from 1999 has that many ports!
