CALL TO ACTION: Town of Snowmass Village Mayor Bill Boineau has been listening to concerns and allegations of abuse regarding the Krabloonik sled dogs since at least 2008. The owner of Krabloonik has been charged with eight counts of animal cruelty. Mayor Boineau promised, despite the outcome of the cruelty case, a robust, public process on behalf of the dogs in a letter to the editor that was published in the Aspen Times and Aspen Daily News in December 2013.

We are asking for concerned citizens to email Mayor Boineau and Snowmass Town Council members asking when the robust public process that the mayor promised on behalf of the Krabloonik dogs will take place. Here is the information you will need:

Suggested title: Robust public process for the Krabloonik dogs

Suggested copy to include: Mayor Boineau and Town of Snowmass Village council members. You have been listening to concerns and abuse allegations regarding the Krabloonik dogs for several years. You have shown no progress on the matter and Mayor Boineau, you shut down public comments in December regarding this important matter. The dogs have no voice, and your job title permits you to be proactive. You promised a robust, public process on behalf of the dogs. When will that process take place?

Sincerely,

Your Name
