I find that hard to believe considering Tmo are never rated in speed tests. In most testing Sprint wins nationwide, but recently Verizon had increased capacity and they are fastest. Att still trails 3rd. Att also have false claims of "the fast 3g network". HSPDA cant compete with the speeds of EvDo Rev A..
Sprint is also launching 4g via wimax. 4-13Mbps...

correction, I have attained speeds of 750kbps on Atts network recently, and Sprint/Verizon still holds steady at 1.8-2.4Mbps. (These are top speeds). Not always consistent and can range down to 500-850kbps on Sprint/Verizon. Att 350-600kbps.
According to DSLreports speed test on mobile devices based off a 1MB fileDL. I have Sprint for personal, Att for work and my sister has Verizon. I dont have access to Tmobile But I know from research they dont come close to the big 3... Central New Jersey.

I've had up to 1.2mbps on AT&T before in my area...Dunno where you're getting those stats from.

Att top out at around 500kbps on their 3g. Tmoblie is even worse... Sprint tops out at around 1.8-2.4kbps. Verizon is @ around 1.3-1-6 kbps. just some fun facts for you..

well tmo is cheaper... but it was much more worth
the money to me to go with at&t...
wrong wrong wrong. ive gotten 940kbps with tmo in NY.
and sprint and verizon are really 1/200th of the speed of att? i think not.

I had t-mobile... but i had so many dropped calls...
and whenever i left the city (baltimore) i would either
have no signal or roam on at&t... so i just switched to att...
never made a better decision in my life!
