This is my first Big-Game hunt with a bow. It takes place in New Mexico September 1st 2007, opening day of black bear season. I used a Grim Reaper Razortip broadhead with a Hoyt compount bow. I was VERY excited. The bear only went about 40 yards. Very humane kill. The rug is in front of my TV and the meat was some of the best i've ever had!
Enjoy!

  • @Damico07 I have no problem with hunting. Ethical hunting... Stalking- actual hunting. Not baiting, since it's not a survival situation. Tree hugging hippy? I hunt too... don't you feel smart. I just dont see the point letting something die over 20 minutes when you could follow it and kill it quicker. But I also don't hunt bears, or any animals that eat meat... mostly cause I find that quite odd. And seeing the way it has to be done, I'd rather go for normal game.

  • nice hunt

  • very cool Travis! Poor bear didn't even see it coming.

  • i actually don't believe in god just an expression...I'm sorry, I didn't know my grammar was being checked. End of the day, my bad grammar aside and you being a tree hugging fag, your still an idiot.

    #Spellcheck

  • @Damico07 You're** And you believe in some sky fairy. Well done. Such a smart move there, can clearly articulate ideas well too...

  • @ExCajun So you're scared like I originally said. Fair enough really... it's a bear.

  • @theguywith1face

umm because its a fucking bear thats how people get killed every year dumb shit

  • congrats on the bear, great Hunt!

  • @jaroncyr

good thought. also you should wait AT LEAST 30 minutes, in my opinion, before starting to track. especially if you don't know for certain it is down. if u come on a wounded animal if it doesnt try or succeed in attacking you... when it runs off you very well may never find it. the will of an animal to live is an amazing thing. and please, non-hunters.... unless you are genuinely interested in something keep your mouth SHUT. u make such a fool of yourself.

  • @theguywith1face This is the stupidest post I believe I have ever seen. I would like to see you running down a wounded bear with a machette. Hehe
