Roughly 20 minutes after an EF4 tornado touched down in the city of Northwood, North Dakota the thunderstorm produced an amazing lightning display. This video was shot in the parking lot at Dakota Hall off the main campus of the University of North Dakota.

  • Is this in real time or accelerated?

  • The tornado was in Northwood, ND. This video was shot in Grand Forks, ND. I never did state there was a tornado in this video. This is the thunderstorm that had produced the about 20 minutes prior.

  • this video sucks there was no tornado dummy

  • :p lame i can go throught that kind of storm

  • that would be a good begaining for a screamer

  • the tornado originally was going to hit larimore (where i live). i saw a tornado yesterday in a field right next to my house it only lasted like 15 seconds

  • what really sucked was driving from grand forks to emerado while this was going on

  • they had lightning like this in brisbane, australia recently... videos are all over youtube

  • wow unreal, and to think how much more impressive it must have been to be there in person.
