huh... i know its costly but tables i make are shitty so i think i buy this it looks so cool and its big :)

Decrease prices, you fat shits.
-
Standard table, in the UK a gaming table like that costs £155. I would rather spend £30 - £50 on some scenary and that does the job for me! :)
-
personally i just play on a 6 x 4 piece of spray painted plywood with some movable pieces of terrain thrown on wherever. works like a charm

@AZnotCali88 I agree. I don't know if it's usefull for GW to apply so high prices.
-
I've just received mine in the post (from Wayland games @ £125) and its awesome! its friggin massive and got some decent detail in it too. Now its just to paint and flock :(

@ChatPranks Go ahead. Just remember---time is money, and GW is allowing the lazier wargamers to get a good board without going through the trouble of finding and buying building materials, supplies for those materials, information on how to properly use said supplies and materials (which though free can be VERY time consuming), and then spend even MORE time actually building the board. (Of course I would just make my own board anyways, but still)
-
the board is $450 in Aus, i think that's really ridiculous considering i can make my own for half that price.
-
he isnt large u should get a relly fat guy to do that :P
Theres nothing to stop people from building your own table, GW encourages it. There are some people out there who do not want the hassle, and as such they are selling them another option.
If you knew what you were talking about, you would know that GW doesnt in fact manufacture these. The price rises were due to the 3rd party manufacturer rising their quote, which unfortunately GW has had to pass onto the customer.
If you dont want it, dont buy it. Theres nothing forcing you to.
