The text in the video is wrong, our solar system is NOT from the Sagittarius galaxy, the plane of the Suns orbit is in line with the Milky Way. The plane of the planets around the Sun has NOTHING to do with this, their plane depends on conditions when the solar system formed from an accretion disc.
MrCrazyHorse's comments below are absolutely correct.
The sun's orbit is in the disk of the Milky Way. The sun's orbit is not even remotely consistent with the orbit of Sagittarius. It is definitely not an escaped star from Sagittarius. It is a Milky Way star.
First of all I would like to say that Earth IS in fact from the MilkyWay Galaxy. There is no evidence from any major credible organization that says differently. However, what I DO find interesting is that a larger galaxy can and does take on similar properties of a black hole by absorbing matter from everything around it, it's just on a much less intense scale.
@auroral , no its not creepy at all, its just a bunch of kids wanting to believe anything they read. All of this is based upon a sky survey from 2003 called 2mass.
google sagittarius galaxy part of the milky way and the second option from disobey.
Actually there is no reason for our Solar System to be aligned with the plane of the Milky Way. Our movement in the Galactic disk is inconsistent with an origin in a cannibalized galaxy. The Sagittarius stream intersection with the disk is also far from us.

We are NOT from the milky way. We are actually apart of the Dwarf Galaxy. Creepy isn't it?
