this sling is merely a large square of denim, probably 2' wide by 3' long, both ends are gathered together by the knot at each end, were the rope is knotted to it, no sewing needed, extremely simple, works better than most any elaborate design Ive seen, it has never thrown backwards, and only fired straight up, one time when a knot came untied, the whole thing is 5' long when folded in half, getting the length right really increased the range of this treb,

Your treb uchet is really cool, any plans to treat the wood to make it look old? do have any more videos of it close up? Is this what you farmers build when the crops are in the ground growing? lol
