@cassmanic Sarah Palin is what happened and she took McCain down with her. Everything he said was within the realm of possible given the Bush administrations track record. Unfortunately, you still need to be afraid of all the other points MCM made.

The funny thing is... the ruling class has pretty much annointed Barack Obama. McCain is regularly lambasted by CorpMedia as an angry old codger - and rightly so. But on policy matters, there are virtually no differences between Obama and McCain (or Bush or Clinton, for that matter). From surging Afghanistan to expanding the death penalty, to the Wall Street Bail Out, to expanding faith-based initiatives, bigger military, more prisons - Obama, McCain, Bush = the same thing.

You are correct sir. Oct. 15-20 martial law exercises to be conducted across the USA using 4000 troops from Iraq that spent the previous 35 months eliminating resistance door to door. Many Australians, British and Canadians will also participate.
Why drag hardcore Iraq vets all the way back to America when they are needed in Iraq? For exercises? Hmmm Unless something is coming soon that requires battle hardened brains willing to follow orders...

I would not put ANYTHING past this group of crooks and thieves --Bush, Cheney, Rove(still a factor),most of the Republican party and administration, Rush Limbaugh,Sean Hannity. Step by step they've generated fear and hatred, removed constitutional protections and checks and balances, created an imperial presidency, and taken many of the same steps toward fascism that were taken in Germany in the 30s. Each step tiny in itself, but taken together they lead to a very bad place.
