Taking on the impact of our "War on Drugs' was the highest priority item on the agenda when Sec. of State Hillary Clinton met with Mexican Pres. Calderon this past week as discussed by Rachel Maddow with Andrea Mitchell. Clinton acknowledges the US responsibility for demand and pledges to provide assistance in beefing up the border with high tech equipment and additional manpower, but does not see any return to the assault rifle ban as that would require too much political capital fighting the gun lobby.
Yeah, Rachel they had a great Idea, send the weapons to the drugs cartels by letting them walk across the border! NOw they have the weapons and the drugs, man that was a great idea, NOT!

instead of spending 30 yrs fighting war on drugs they could of legalized all drugs like holland and have almost no drug users by now but no this country thinks ass backwards and imrprisons non violent offenses cause we live in a police state where they take the money from drugs spend it as they want to. They even supply the hard drugs to this country from the inside We are screwed this country has hit rock bottom and if u or anyone thinks our gov cares about them they are blind as hell

The problem here is the UD beaucratic position regarding drugs. That has to change from the the old stance taken since 1906. Federal drug policy can be changed to negate the profit-making ability of the Cartels. Yet, our government regardless of administration refuses to change that stance promoted so many years ago based on fallacies and innuendo.

You don't see any change in these Sec Clinton's statement? Do you think Bush or Rice would have admitted fault in the Mexican crisis? Come on. Don't you get it?

Where's the "change" Obama? Where is the change in thinking? Flushed down the toilet for votes. Now our country is circuling the drain. Ty for sharing.
