Villa Ana is located close to the Andalucian town of Villanueva del Trabuco which itself is five minutes drive from the Malaga Granada motorway giving access to Granada and Malaga airports in under an hour, providing visitors options on cheap flights.
The area around Villanueva del Trabuco is noted for its walking, climbing, mountain biking and paragliding. Bird watching is a must, as well as the native eagles, hoopoe and other rare breeds, this area is on the migration route of many foreign species.
Villa Ana is also ideal as a base to discover Andalucia. The historic cities of Granada, Cordoba, Seville, Ronda, Malaga, Antequera and Coin can all be visited on day trips as can the ski resort of the Sierra Nevada. The many beaches of the Costa del Sol are easily accessible. For the more adventurous traveller the good rail service from Antequera gives access to places like Madrid and Valencia.
