This tool is not crappy. I bought it because it was cool and i used it to cut allure flooring trim. I also bought a racthet for it. And oh yeah its a rachet. And it hasnt broke yet.

If they made this in 18v along with a copper pipe cutting head like milwaukee I would defiantly buy one.

But it is battery and hence for only mobile purpose. Probably for construction jobs. You can't use it more than 8 hours/day.

I bought the Jobmax 3 AMP Multi-Tool Starter Kit ( Corded ) Came with a couple blades and sanding pads for $119.00. It comes with an adapter so you can use other brands blades.... DON'T USE RIDGID BLADES WITH IT.... If you buy Dremel or Bosch blades for it, You get your bang for your buck!!!!! ;-D ALSO DON'T BUY THE CRAPPY 12V battery version!! I love this tool!!!

Don't waste your money on Ridgid. It looks nice in the commercial , however, when the product fails the warranty department is belligerent. They got me once and I will never purchase......Homelite, Ryobi, Milwaukee or Ridgid again. Lifetime Warranty what a joke. I am glad I did not purchase the more expensive drills. I wasted $ 70 and will just throw it in the trash. At least Harbor Freight tries to work with you and will swap a tool.

Im filling my ridgid site box. Are you guys going to bring back the ridgid Impact driver?

thought it was very little for a lot - I got it to be able to do custom cuts into wood flooring rather than use a chisel and electrical cutouts in millwork that are in tight areas along with hammering in nails in tight areas- i did one small cut out in half inch plywood with no finish or laminate and it took forever and the blade was at half life - hammer could not make the nail flush - its not the most expensive tool out there but still not worth buying it - consider it returned

I just bought it for $99 at The Home Depot, however, I only have one of the heads, which is for the multi tools. Seems promising.
