Cycling in George Bush Park

Hi- I'm giving you a small glimpse of ride scenery in GB park, located in Houston, Tx. It's around 23 miles if you start from hwy 6 to Fry Rd. and back to hwy 6. Mostly flat, gentle twists, rivers, bridges, car parking spots, water fountains, benches, map, mountain bike trail, safe, and wild creatures can be seen. I saw a huge deer this morning! Btw, you can refuel at a Walgreen on Fry Rd. Too! It's my favorite cycling hole so far in Houston area! Enjoy and give me some positive feed back. Thank you!

1hr 15 min. Totalling 22.3 miles, starting from Noble Rd. (Valero gas station) on hwy 6 to S. Fry Road (turn about is the bench seat) and back at average speed of 17.6mph. Max @33.3 mph.

Only 4 weeks ago, I was bed ridden, visit to ER, loss of strength to a shot for muscle relaxation and medication pills etc to setting a new personal record for me has been my own personal show of the indomitable spirit.

After a long recovery (around a month) from neck and back pain, I rebounded and managed to break my old record. Incredibly 3 weeks ago I ended up in emergency room for spondylosis (a severe form of arthritis) and back pain so painful I couldn't get out of the bed. Shot and meds made my muscle so weak, I had a tough time just walking. Incredible quick recovery has led me to continue my cycling and gym workouts. Icing on the cake was today's 11/14/11's record breaker with;

Huge fire burning at George Bush Park on 9/13/2011. The fires' smoke could be seen from the Sugar Land airport on hwy 6!
