To be honest... Most asians, especially Koreans, straight hair is recessive gene. But oddly, pre-dominantly, we end up with straight hair. That straight hair, is just ethnics. It's naturally straight. But, if you do wanna try to get your hair like that, try hair styling wax. Try asian one's, if you can get your hands on them. If you guys don't believe me, I'm korean, and I've always had straight hair. I shower everyday and it just ends up drying like that. It's the genetics.

I'm Asian too, I'm chinese, but my hair is oily, no matter how often how shampoo, it only looks good within 3 hours after my hair dries, after 5-6 hours, it starts to look oily again, thus flat hair...sad

from what my hair stylist taught me, since shampoo is a cleanser, your cleaning your scalp so the natural hair oils flow through your hair. the more u shampoo the more clean ur scalp is, so if i am correct, and idk if i am, the more oily your hair will be. u should ask your own hair-stylist bout your hair though, just my advice ^_^

I meant to say that the hair root was not flat. Flat hair in Asian (CN, HK, TW, KO?) hair styling context means hair that has not been shampoo for days...You know...when it's kinda greasy, hair roots go really flat. I.E: I have straight hair, and if i apply too much hair styling product, it makes my hair root go flat..that's what i meant. (头发塌了-Hair goes flat), you should say that to a Chinese girl, lol, she would mistaken that your are saying her hair is greasy.

lol, it only works for them....One brand one would recommend is Got2B (I don't remember the name of the series, it's for damage hair-package in blue bottle &tubes. I actually would buy korean hair product if oversea shipping is not 2 ridiculous.
