99.9% of Maidana's KOs have been against South American scrubs. When he's in against top-ten fighters the result goes to a split or majority decision. Of course the one exception is his KO victory over Victor Ortiz. Maidana wasn't sprawling the elites of the junior welterweights. Now he's venturing up to 147. If Roberto Duran couldn't carry his power up a weight class then Maidana certainly can't. Alexander will outbox him easily. Don't waste your money on a guy who punches like a crab.

i don't think Maidana can win. first of all - hes being stupid by having this fight in STL, a smarter fighter like tim bradley didn't.
Maidana's stamina is being a bit overated. against amir khan and eric i saw a bit of tiring.
what does eric and amir have in common with devon ? they fighting style is a bit similar to devon. Movement causes trouble to maidana. devon jabs and moves a lot and will do that to maidana. its a 10 round fight btw. devon wins by UD

alexanders uppercut is super class. one of them and maidan's lights will go out. having said that one of maidana's hooks and alexanders legs will go jelly like amir khan in their fight.

jab nothing...tha main thing is devons lack of ferocity...maidana is a wrecking ball and when he lands expect devon to fold like a deck of cards and call it a career...he jus doesnt have tha intestional fortitude of a marcos maidana or eric morales he is a flashy skilled athelete who lacks tha other side of tha coin...mental and physical tufness!
