  • @The40thThief - Too true. How is it that as a teenager I found time to read the classics and smoke weed and listen to every bit of music I could get copied onto cassette (yes I took the time to do that in real time...no downloading in 1980s). Conversely, today's mush brained stoner teen can barely find their way home without an iphone GPS ap? Oh well, idealistic young man, grumpy old man.

  • When "tiny purple fishes run laughing through your fingers", you know you're high... XD Love this song!

  • @PsychedelicBluesJams I can't believe this is the top comment. If you didn't read the Odyssey you're missing a lot. I found time to read the book AND listen to Tales of Brave Ulysses too. It's not like if you do one you are unable to do the other. "Cream" is a timeless band, "the Odyssey" timeless epic poem. You can't miss any of them.

  • i wont be born for another 7 months but i love cream zeppelin and sabbath...all the other fetuses listen to justin beiber and lady gaga....they need to grow up and listen to real music.

  • @1burnman - Aye! and Clapton has never done anything as brilliant since this...

  • Shit, I'm just fucking delighted to dial it up and still get a glimmer in my memory of what it was like to be 18; and it was out of control, let me tell you.

  • this is cream at their best

  • @thefaketahare I was just saying, no number of insults you can throw at me can change the fact that they are similar.

  • The visuals this song summons up are perfect. A time of danger, hope, passion and the exotic sums up this period in the world and in the music. "Tiny purple fishes run laughing through your fingers, and you want to take her with you to the heartland of the winter". That image lasts all day long and then some.

  • @Zepoch1 how come every fucking video of this song has someone making this comment. does it really matter? They're both incredible songs! were's your psychedelic rock video? did you put it up? tell me when you write timeless music bro and I'll be happy to comment on it. really.
