These episodes are all included in Hasslein Books' reference publications - "Timeline of the Planet of the Apes" and the newly released "Lexicon of the Planet of the Apes".

@Oilyrag1963 That's what they were like in the original novel and you guessed right that it wasn't done in the movies due to budget.

@spikelilgirl In the later episodes there were technologically advanced human mutants living in the desert, much like in the second movie. Guess the gorillas were gearing up for a war with them. I watched these when I was a kid (Long time ago!).

Nice touch making the Apes more technically advanced, this would have made the original movies rather expensive.

Um, surely you're not talking about higher animation production values. This is barely animated at best. Good atmosphere though.
