I'm so sorry it took me two weeks to get back with making videos but i'm here, I didn't go nowhere! I just been busy with school & the cooking contest I told ya'll about, helping my Mom make cooking videos for this MassConnections.com Website & the contest they have to win some money. Here's the first actual cooking video my Mom did & I produced it & it's her first video so please give me insight on how you liked it & get ready for more cooking videos from my Mother. These cooking videos are for the contest, where you make as many videos as you want with your own original recipes & it has to be under 4 Minutes. Editing it took lot of work & time because we did videos that were 16 Minutes or more so we had to cut alot out & you may notice in the videos we upload that parts are cut out to make it the right time, Hey! We don't want to get disqualified, but anyway, Enjoy & I hope I attract some cooking people on Youtube. This is the part 1 of this cooking series, how many parts is up to how many recipes my Mother makes! She's a great cook because she can cook anything & make scratch out of anything, great to have a Mom who can cook & everyone loves her cooking! This recipe is for southern biscuits. It was her Grandmother's recipe & it was passed on to my Mom after our Grandma passed & you'll find out how she makes them better then her Grandma's!

  • how hot does the oven have to be?? she said it but it was cut off, and do you have to use crisco??

  • @lahana2244 The oven has to be on 400 degrees and yes, you have to use crisco so the biscuits are flaky.

  • Great video! I wonder if using butter flavor Crisco would change the flavor much. My Grandmother's were aready gone by the time I came along. My step-G'ma wouldn't let my mother in the kitchen, so nothing got passed down. It's wonderful to see people cooking their Grandmother's recipes! Great Job!

  • Thanks for the love:)
