Technology that Touches Lives - The first ad

The ad shows a young hitchhiker hitching a ride from an investment banker on a lonely highway stretch. During the ride, the hitchhiker, a HCL employee, realises that the investment banker is unaware of how HCL technology has been touching the lives of people. The hitchhiker points out some of these instances to the banker.

The point? Well, the HCL company hires smug idiots, and this particularly smug individual had all his worries taken care of, including a helicopter ride from out of nowhere, but the poor bastard had to hitch a ride to get there, and be as smug as possible while he got there. What idiots, lol!

BrandHCL, hope you're reading this. This is undoubtedly the stupidest ad campaign. the protagonist - who the audience should warm to - is smug beyond belief, conspicuously takes pleasure in someone else's misfortune ("the stock market just crashed" comment), and to top it off is hitching a ride to a helicopter. I would give anything to meet the idiot who scripted this and give him a piece of my mind. btw, the market did crash today, and the last i checked hclt is publicly traded stock. Morons.

HCL seriously has screws loose if they think an ad like this could do anything for their image. What are they trying to promote? Pretentiousness? I am seriously so disgusted...

This is funniest add i have ever seen.

its good to see HCL guys work on great things, but from the add, we can conclude that, HCL dont even provide a Cab for transport... HCL guys have to depend on the mercy of Internation Investment banks' employees.
