  • Hah interesting video, thanks for uploading. To be honest, a lot of the Regional accents sound a bit fake to me but I can't tell if that's because they ARE or because they've merely changed over time. And that guy's French rhythm may be accurate but that French accent is an interesting amalgamation of various foreign accents. Points out something useful I'd not quite focused on before about the differences in rhythm.

  • Simply brilliant !

  • I teach ESL and this is EXACTLY what I say to my students once they get the rythmn of english right they will be able to be understood better. Excellent video I'll have to recommend it to my students. Also in Australia it is deemed not correct english to use americanisms but if we spoke like a yorkshireman, scot, irish, cockney we would not be understood. Go figure it's snobbery. You should hear our Prime Minister :-O

  • You tell em!

  • I had to laugh when he said, "they all understand each other, but no one understands me!"

  • Excellent! All students of the English language should watch this and those that are trying to learn French.

  • wonderful, thank you!

  • Absolutely wonderful, quite wonderful!

  • Bernard shaws heritage is waiting for a owner, till today.
