The MYO uses a unique "on/off" gesture (that is unlikely to occur normally) to enable and disable control using the MYO. The MYO alerts the user via haptic feedback to let them know when it is enabled and detecting movement.

One possible use case of Google Glass is remote troubleshooting for various industrial, mechanical, or medical applications. Glass already has a camera-based gestural interface, but what if you are operating under low light conditions while in constant communication with the remote troubleshooter? A non-optic based gestural interface like Myo would be useful for controlling your Glass. It's also less obtrusive compared to repeatedly gesturing in front of your face.
