'Ruby' is the world's fastest Rubik's Cube robot created by Swinburne computing and robotics students.
The robot will be on display on Swinburne Open Day, Sunday 21 August 2011.

If you actually watch carefully you will see that the WHOLE cube can be rotated. So you can achieve all 3 axes needed to solve the cube. Also look up cubestormer II, the current world record holder.
