I think that, just the way Kushina keeps walking as her kidnappers are getting knocked down around her, just stumbling on like she's not even conscience, goes a long way to show just how hopeless she was without making it IN YO FACE, ya know?

This was by far one of the best episodes of Naruto so far. It's nice to see it as a Manga chapter but when you genuinely see it animated it's so so amazing.
