READ DESCRIPTION:

I know I'm not great yet but I think I'm getting there! :(
UPDATE-
Hey everyone this is a video I made in 2008, but as an update I couldn't keep up with the contortion after the 3 weeks since I moved away for college.

This took me 3 weeks but I caution everyone to do their research if interested in doing the same! Injury is veryyy common with contortion but there are ways to prevent it. As a side note, I was a figure skater for many years prior to this so that gave me a head start with the flexibility.

  • You inspire me! I'm like you, tall, thin, and pretty flexible already and I've been wanting to get flexible so I started taking gymnastics. I saw this video of you doing this I was so relived. I thought that contortionist had to be born like that naturally. I was thinking of keeping a video diary like yours and doing this as well. I know I still have to read more and study more about contortion and will have to learn safety first of course. ANYWAYS, just thought I would say thanks for the insp

  • @JapWaf :D Your very welcome!!! And yesss safety first please!

  • Haha I was thinking the same thing!! People put these videos up of amazing contortion and they see it and think, "Oh, hey, I wanna try that!" When in actuality it's probably a bad idea. That's a good idea though, extensive research, smart thinking. I LOVE figure skating, ever since I can remember all up until when I was about 8 & got more serious about ballet, I wanted to be a figure skater so so bad. & I thought you'd understand about the jealousy thing, its others I was worried about haha.

  • @Alltheweirdfaces Haha well im glad you mentioned it, I actually just changed my description box warning people which I really should've done more than a year ago lol. And pfft I wish I had done ballet! But I had to stopped since my big toe nail fell off and it was too painful. I just said "fuck this" -.- HUGE regret. :( ...Oh and now im doing yoga which to me seems like a much safer form of contortion. I think EVERYONE should start of by doing that.
