What exactly are we thanking here? the genocide of the original inhabitants of this country, or the continued aggression against other nations, when most people on the planet, simply put, do NOT want WAR, period?

So, if the current Prez, Obama, addresses the nation on Tuesday, December 1st, 2009, to rally the nation behind continuous warfare in Afghanistan and by extension, Pakistan as well, what does this really say about us as a people? A population, which is largely against wars of aggression, when it is directed against usbut not against it, when it concerns others, with similar concerns?

The answer, in large part, depends on the continued propaganda, praising such aggression to be virtuous, the wall between freedom , which will be resolved by blind patriotic slogans at every turn. Nothing could be further from the truth. And anyone who falls for this continuous bullshit has either been brainwashed from childhood on, or is still being brainwashed to this day. Read the god-damn biographies of those who actually believed in this crap, including some of greatest American War Heroes including Butler-Smith, who exposed this scam for what it was and still is today.

Time and Newsweek, their recent articles, would have you believe, that Vietnam could have been WON, if only more troops would have been committed to the effort. Evidently 56,000 dead US soldiers and over 1 million dead Vietnamese were NOT ENOUGH. And these very same publications, are now telling you again, to ESCALATE, exactly as they did before, both during Vietnam and the disaster in Iraq.
And now they want to WIN hearts and minds of the Afghan people. Ought to work out nicelysince virtually no Afghan person, with the exception of the Afghan elite, actually gives a damn. They want to be left alone, without drone planes flying overhead bombing innocent civilians at a rate of about 30 40 per week. This is not WINNING hearts and minds, its the perfect prescription for more resistance and continued warfare.

Over 6,000 US troops have died so far, both in Iraq and Afghanistan so far. Not mention the countless civilians in either of these countries whose deaths are NOT counted by the US military, because the numbers far outweigh the mind-set of winning hearts + minds. So, more troops into AfPac, and presumably the number of dead US troop will reach 10,000 by 2012. Theyve stopped counting the injured, needless to say. Maybe 20,000 troops killed by 2015. Shit, whos counting? At least we dont have 56,000 dead yetso, its an improvement, no?

The appropriate backdrop for the next speech, calling for increased troop deployment,
is of course Westpoint and not Arlington Cemetery or the Vietnam Memorial Wall by Maya Lin with those 56,000 names on it. Hurray! Weve got those numbers beatand only 6,000 dead, now approaching 7,000 is now considered as improvement after 9 years.

  • It was an Illuminati disinfo agent. We can't let the people know the real symbols are cats.

  • pheckery4you1958: well, talk about letting the secret out! damn you !!! :)

  • There's some kind of inversion going on. Like personally, we have things to give thanks for. Between us personally and god. But on a national scale it is a disgrace. So we can complain, or pray or eventually do something. Write Congress, and if no results, vote them out next year.

Inversion. Stop war by stopping the money. Maybe in a weird twisted way the banksters are bankrupting the nation as their protest against the war ? No money, no bullets ? Just a weird thought.

  • tenagliac: the banksters are making plenty of money, and especially when it comes to warfare. It does not matter in the least which nation is bankrupted in the process, they will simply move elsewhere, to their private little enclaves in Paraguay or in Dubrovnik or someplace else in the middle of the Pacific. War is big profit, always. And only for the very few.

  • Hey! Ella, when are you going to hang the frame resting down your bookshelf ... Happy Thanks Everything. You Illuminati you!

    Peace out!

  • usergently: I don't know...but I'm glad you noticed it. I'm a pretty bad house-keeper, don't pay attention to this stuff, mostly. It's actually a drawing, a portrait of my father, which I did a long time ago. He has been dead for many years. I'm not interested in showing my art on YT...I'm uncomfortable with self-promotion of this sort. People have asked me before about this. I hate the 'wow' factor on YT. I could show lots of my art-work on here, but I'm just not into it. Thanks :)

  • That sounds like "the more you buy, the more you save."

Maybe, if we sent enough troops, the war would end so quickly that we could effectively go back in time and avoid sending them to Afghanistan in the first place. That would rock!

I was recently talking to a prof who studies that region how decimated the Afghanistan economy is. He pointed out 60% of the Afghan economy is now illegal drugs. As a point of comparison, at its worst, 3% of Columbian GNP came from cocaine.

  • Keep your cover. The secret society of ceramic chicken collectors will soon establish our new egg order.

  • @phuckery4you1958 Meow meow meow

  • Kind of interesting to get all those comments, both pro and con. Sure glad TheBaByG gave me your link. Seems like our military is now the official enforcement arm of corporate America and Congress is wasting our time representing their Parties instead of providing some good representation.

  • By the way, before anyone accuses me (again) of just trying to score "politically correct" points, let me say that I agree with this woman primarily because I feel that there are *plenty* of things wrong with Western society as a whole. For example, I also shudder at the manner in which white women are systematically overrepresented and are being overpriviliged at the expense of women of color. But that is a story for another topic.

  • I pretty much completely agree with everything she said.

  • very late in commenting on this. w/o internets;-)

your vids are an inspiration. don't let that, and i'm sure you won't, taint your remarkable straightforwardness.

  • Good point ella but Obama isn't made of the same stuff JFK. He doesn't posses a lot of courage, or have the enter convictions. His whole deal is to be loved by everyone. In fact I would hazard the guess, that he's very much afraid of making anyone really mad, for fear of the same fate as JFK.

  • lol! what is next year?

  • Here is something to think about, According to the Chinese Calendar;

2 years ago we had year of the cow & there was an outbreak of mad cow disease. Last year was the year of the chicken and we had an outbreak of bird flu. This year it is the year of the pig and low and behold we have swine flu. Next year is the year of the coq. Anyone worried yet? LOL

  • Part 1 - Sounds like a bad case of chickenoia. :o)

Part 2 - Sounds like nothing has changed...I do believe...or is that change you can believe in?

Nope I don't think there was any change at all.

    Happy Thanksgiving Ella!
