Newtown Flash Flood

Some footage of the Flash Floods which occured in Newtown, Powys on Wednesday 10th of June 2009.

My friend and I were walking down the street in the rain then all of a sudden a torrent of brown water rushed down the street. We did not think of taking a video until it had subsided a little. I have never seen anything quite like it. The Emergency services were on scene in minutes and they all did a great job.

Lets just hope they sort out the flood drain so that everytime we do have a flood, the town centre doesn't turn into a river.
