The lyrics are from William Blake's book of poetry entitled "Songs of Innocence," from 1794. It's easy to find the words online, but it's worth googling "The Blake Archive" online to see the beauty of his accompanying watercolors.

The lyrics are
Can i see anothers woe,and not be in sorrow to?
Can i see anothers grief, and not seek for kind relief? Can i see a falling tear, and not feel my sorrows share? Can a father see his child weep, nor be with sorrow filled?

I just got the sound track, it is AMAZING! Highly recommend it. This is the full length of the song, however in another composition in the sound track these lyrics are also used.
The lyrics are from a poem written in 1789 by a man named William Blake. You should look the poem up, it's thoroughly touching.
