  • This guy has got to be the best Rochester yet. (No offense to Dalton and the others, including Fassbender) There he was, pushing her and putting the ball in her court and risking sending Jane off to Ireland and marrying that insufferable Miss Ingram until FINALLY she caves and tells him everything he wanted to hear.

  • "Did I ever tell you of my travels in the blue mounts of Mongolia? You can tell ME of YOUR travels in the black and gloomy forests of your childhood memories..." Does anyone else find it hilarious because of the way he said it? hahahaha

  • Good match The Blond Girl os too Fales

  • "You know Jane, I wish I was a little better suited to matching her in looks." HA! Good one, Toby Stephens.

  • @love10719 It doesn't look like.

  • Apparently there is some social rule that says, that when Rochester marries, then Adele must be sent away to a boarding school. Then off course there will be no job for Jane at Thornfield. That's what they are talking about In this scene, and Rochester suggests that he can get her a job in Ireland. Neither of them is too thrilled at this prospect, and he quickly begin talk about dragonflys instead.

  • @ayseal And now, 10 months later, can you? Because I'm afraid I can not ever stop ...

  • @Maya55700 No, no. He does this to know if she loves him! I'd like to do this with some people naturally as he does, and have the same answer.

  • It's even better in the book when he tells her that he was talking about marrying Blunch to find out if Jane was "SO MADLY IN LOVE WITH HIM AS HE WAS WITH HER," beautiful! I love Edward Rochester almost more than Mr. Darcy by now!

  • @DangVuVNOh, no, I believe he is well aware of that! haha

  • @467290I am very grateful to you for responding. But do not get it, he was perhaps just changing the subject?
