@trackstarmovies The DeLorean was NOT made on drug money... The "drug deal" was a setup by the FBI and John DeLorean was acquitted of the charges. He never servered time in jail.

Everyone should stop guessing about DeLorean's funding. He never sold drugs, he never had drug money. The so called drug lords he dealt with were undercover officers that set him up. He was charged, but it never stuck as he faught the charge with entrapment. The car wasn't a success 'cause it was a shit car.
