Bad Landlord

TEXAS: Drunken foreign landlord enters my room illegally with the extra key. Forget any state laws, this man uses his own rules.

I called the police after this incident. Since this incident, the bad landlord has filed two bad faith & frivolous lawsuits against me with court dates in the same month: August 2 and August 31. This video shows he knowingly filed false petitions. The same way they lied to the court to try to evict me is the same way they have disparaged me to other tenants and prospective landlords.

You should have called the police. Going through all this with him for so long is ridiculous. Especially considering the way the video ends. That could have gotten really dangerous for you! I don't know what brought this all about, BUT no matter the reason (not paying rent, land is crazy, whatever) you must legally have someone evicted. No landlord can evict a tenant themselves. A landlord cannot make you leave by changing the locks or shutting off utilities.

they cant just evict you no matter what...they need a 30 day notice...when they do this call the police thrust me!

hi i live in a basement in nyc with no lease.last month my landlord claim that the elecricity went up to 300 dollars.and ask me for 200.i pay 700$ a month and i been living here for about 5 month.i agve her a 100 extra personaly all i could give.for i am aready paying rent.she ask me fore more.im afraid when the times come she will not give back my security deposit money.she has a stove here and a storage room here as well(i have taken photos).and i caught them trespasing as well...what can i do

i rent a house from a ny state legislator and he wont get rid of 4000 dollars worth of mold damage caused by his flooding basement and i have three kids in the home.

If he had done that here in the state of Florida his ass would be in jail and he would have to post bond or see the judge before he gets out. After that the judge will order him to stay at least 100 feet from you and will not be able to enter the apt unless you give him permission.
