  • Hello Tom....Do you still need one Display Port connected to run Eyefinity with the 7970 ?

  • @Drebln893 with an active adapter yes dude

  • Tom please help me understand this, by using the same graphic card, if a game run perfectly on a 24' 1080p LED, then it must be the same on a 60' 1080p LED right? or a large screen do requires more GPU power regardless the resolution?

  • @houston34 the resolution is all you need to worry about dude ;)

  • please some one respond i have two options i have a gtx 580 and i want to have 3 monitors for BF3 max 5700x1080p

    1) sell my gtx 580 and buy a hd radeon 7970

    OR

    2)buy an other gtx 580

money is not really my consern but would like it to be in a budget of $600 or less

  • @lekgolo800 single 7970 BF3 in tripple screens wasnt that great dude so Id go with an extra 580 if I was you.

  • My new Xfx Core edition 7970 does 1180 core 1575mem do not now for sure i mem can go higher and afterburner beta 14 does not support mem voltage and the core clock artifacts at 1200Mhz can more volts put the artifacts away ?

  • I knew Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was getting influenced by playing shooter games..now that little sand nigger is all fired up and wants to do it in real life.

  • LOL

  • @Divey1130 If you decide to run 2 monitors and have the money for a new card, you should sell/put away the 560. Two of 'em will blow your electr. bill and the heat of your case... Additionally, you get the double gpu "special features".

  • @kanbeiZ Yes, it does heat up more. The voltage is just sometimes necessary to run it stable.

@msyong94 Watch your temps carefully and raise the core voltage a tiny bit. In a closed case the temperatures will rise much faster and higher than in his open dock.

  • @F4H33M97 i already got my second gtx 580 and am happy with the preformace yes i can't run bf3 in ultra 5760x1080 but i can run it in high and that looks great i would have waited but i would lose money if i sold a gtx 580 and boght a gtx 680 or something if i already have a gtx 580

  • would a 1920x1080 monitor work eyefinity with 2 1280x1024 , if not is there any way that i could put the 1080p monitor go down to that resolution

  • @lekgolo800 i think you should wait for nvidias new cards
