  • why does it ends with a sheep sound and him answering ''alright im coming'' as if that sheep said ''IT'S LATE COME TO BED HONEY''

  • O: now i know what he looks like I been wondering forever what he looked like =p

  • I make mine with a pot roast usually but when Im feeling lazy hamburger is the way to go

  • i use beef for mine yep its everyones preference

  • Cottage pie, lamb is in shepherd's pie. The clue is in the name!

  • MY FIRST AND MOST COMPLICATED DISH. it is a few minute away from being shoved into the oven and i have very good feeling about this one. thank you so much i am no longer affraid of cooking thanks

  • i would call this more assembling than cooking...

  • for some reason, this doesn't look as good as when gordon ramsey made this. :/

  • Looks tastey, but Shepherd's Pie? I don't think so.

  • @Dojocho In early cookery books, the dish was a means of using leftover roasted meat of any kind, and the pie dish was lined with mashed potato as well as having a mashed potato crust on top.

The term "shepherd's pie" did not appear until the 1870s, and since then it has been used synonymously with "cottage pie", regardless of whether the principal ingredient was beef or mutton.
