Freightliner Class 66 533 Heads South Through Northampton Station

Saturday 21st May 2011 - Bright and Sunny.
Freightliner Class 66 533 "Hanjin Express/ Senator Express" heads South through Northampton Station, highlighting nicely the obstacles that can occur when filming from busy station platforms.
It is interesting to consider that all the WCML freight traffic comes through this bottleneck at Northampton until the early hours of the morning when freight can run directly through Milton Keynes to Rugby.
This was really a practice session for the main event - 5043 :-)

@robmasterman Thanks Bob - I've learned that the wider the angle, the more stable the picture. I know it's obvious. This was videoed with a 25mm equivalent. I tend to like a nice post for zoomed shots :-) Mike
