@waslookat1me Yes! Soda does do that because of the carbon...totally forgot about that. But I have completely cut out soda YEARS ago. Cept ginger ale....I use that when I am sick. Thanks for the nice comment...I am sure I will do just fine if I stick to it....as well as DJ thank you :) And I hope you dont think I was mad at you...because I wasnt. :)
@MulattoBrothaGW its not just salt that can do that. Any kind of fizzy drink can make you put weight on too the gases will make you bloated, so cutting that out will help, as for the water well I have never heard of that and you have given me something to look into so thank you. I hope you journey is a successfully for you I wish you the best of luck.
@waslookat1me You dont "blow up like Spongebob" because you body is not designed to soak up that much water. Its like hydration for your skin, but not for your body. You CAN gain a little wait from swimming constantly...not a lot, but enough to matter. Salt actually does make you hold a lot of water depending how much you intake....cut out salt COMPLETELY for a week or two...and I bet you can loose 10 pounds (with a little exercise). I did. The majority of the weight you lose is WATER weight.
do me a favor please don't push yourself anymore just stay at the level your doing now don't do too much too soon or you will become tired and start to take one day off and one becomes two. After you have lost 14 pounds then up it by 5 to 10 mins, slow and steady wins the race
@MulattoBrothaGW if going swimming mean you take in water then I must blow up like SpongeBob every time I take a bath. Water weight is the first week of a die,t you lose water, thats why you get a high pound loss and eating alot of salt true makes you hold water but not that much its more for cholesterol purpose's.
I don't think he gain muscle as swimming is low impact on muscles, so its more of a calorie burner but gentler, I think he had a bad week, remember it can always be turn around again.
@MulattoBrothaGW I didn't think you were mad, no problem mate.
