I know that you're probably a republican and thus lack comprehension skill and have a need to spin everything into your favor. But what Obama was saying is that the same people that the Republican lack of leadership and judgement put out of work are still very capable, willing, and ready. Obama is telling it like it is and anchoring people in reality, not blowing sunshine up America's ass like Bush did for 8 years. Look where that's got us. McCain and Obama said two very different things!
