A photo chronicle of the history of Kingsport Speedway in Kingsport, Tenn., includes Richard Petty, Harry Gant, L.D. Ottinger, Gene Glover, Ernie Ervin, Wendell Scott and others. The track has been closed since the end of the 2002 season.

  • Hey ,Thanks this brings back a FLOOD of memories for me ,would just like to make mention to a ole racein buddy that drove this track many times ,Don't know if hes still alive ,but I ain't never forgot him Marron Guy Hope I spelled his name right,,this GREAT post !!!!!!!

  • I was at the race today. 70+ degrees and blue skys. To think of all the great drivers that competed here over the years and especially Dale Sr. is like going back into time. The racing was spectacular and the crowd filled the parking lots. I hope this track the best in the future and that it makes a great comeback. e3fan

  • Great Video....I enjoyed being back at the track today for the UARA race. It was spectacular. Thank you for including the clip of my 66 car at the end. I miss that track.
