I agree. I see wing chung guys make a better attempt than most hsing yi I've seen on youtube.

Kenny Gong for sure. Regardless of the term, the concept seems to be lost on just about everybody according to the universe of youtube videos.
People don't even know the awesome power that man possessed. =)

Hmmm... that is a Kenny Gong Shing yi style term. "rubbing the center." That might be a lineage term. Some people might not have understood that term w/out a breakdown.

6 harmonies are not in sync. He's off balance and uses momentum. Where's the whole body power? Where's the rubbing the center?

So either his qi will grow to overcome the tension and cause him to relax it even more (if he does qigong and perhaps other healthy habits), and/or he will relax his fascia and deeper muscles more. He might benefit from some cross training in baguazhang and taijiquan, not to mention perhaps some mizongquan.

He's still growing at this stage, I agree. You can tell because he is still trying to feel his qi out from his dan tien to his extremities, so he pauses trying not to lose the feeling. At this stage, his tension is still not reduced enough overall, so his qi is still held back.

Good stuff indeed. This form can be practiced in many ways, this one is quite close from the one I learned. Maybe a young student, but I think he must be very good now.
