  • all csx ac 6000 are demoted to ac 4400 if u didnt know that....

  • All de-rated CW60AC units were re-rated to their full 6000 HP with the exception of 699 which had its HDL prime mover replaced with an FDL prime mover. The bugs with the HDL have been worked out and the units are all back at their optimal horsepower rating, However there were 19 units that were never derated, and the reason those were not derated is that they had previously received replacement HDLs.

  • CSX is starting to Derate all of the AC6000's for some reson,

  • again?

  • I think ALL CSX AC60's got the new GEVO 16 6000hp upgrade I have seen several with the new emission sticker on the right side of the nose and I think I have counted 15 just here in Nashville I have looked at with the new 6000hp GEVO under the hood, from talking to train crews they are bad boys a friend had one repowered CW60 and one ES44AH pulling 120 loaded coal cars and said it was no problem even in rolling hills says they have a lot more starting effort now

  • AC6000CW Going Solo?

  • Great video!there needs to be more AC6000CW's because they are fun to catch and they look to be stronger then all of CSX's DC GEVOS. I like DC but the thing is they Brake down alot and AC is much better.

  • @kendallscottxo never call a GE an ALCo not even close

  • I love the sound of the newer GE's or should i say Super Alco's. Great Video, thank's.

  • nice video! shut that dog up!

  • apparently GE is refiting some of CSXs AC6000CWs with new 16 cylinder 6,000 hp engines. It's essentially making an ES60AC but they won't be reclassified. Their engines won't make that trademark whirring noise when they pass by. But it's unknown how many locos will get this change.

  • I counted, one GE AC6000CW and 92 coal cars, nice video!!

  • Not only 90 by itself, but at a pretty good pace too!!

    Great video!

  • Amazing the video (thumb up!)
