@aggster1974 Hello I appreciate your story but if you don't mind would you please answer a couple questions. I am going to be a kidney donor if after all the tests show that I am a match to my cousin. Did I understand you right that it takes 7 months before we would even hear that we are a match? thats a lovely story and im giving a kidney on the 31 july which is next friday to my younger brother. hes been on dyalisis for 5 years and hes only 23. i always tell people im not nervous but like you it will hit me when where ready for surgery. we live in england but i doubt the process is any different but its taken 7 months to get to hear and we are a perfect match so im hoping everything works perfect for him. best wishes to you and your brother.
