i now topped 100 lol did 101 last time out nearly killing myself in the process. I would of thought a longer skid more friction would of made it slower. Is your sled studded? i know my sled felt quicker without the extra weight on the track

Its, proven the the XTX skid 144" is faster than the shorty...and yes 114 studs

@mossow71 yeah sure thing polaris is junk if you think so, and no i'm pretty sure my speedo isn't off by 10 but i know for sure that my buddys bushnell radar gun isn't off by 10 when he clocked me on the lake

114mph on a Yamaha Speedo is like 100mph on GPS, you might want to check that! Yamaha puts extreme wisho meters on all there pwc's and sleds

@PseudomortalityR1 What your does 172, if its on your speedo, its the slowest R1 ive never heard of, all the 2004 R1 and newer are speed limited to 186 mph (190 sometimes ) on their speedo. and with the bigbang engine ( 2009-2010 and 2011 R1 you can achieve that on 5th or 6th gear. and a sled that does 130 mph on the radar isnt stock. you really sound like somebody that never touched a sled, in fact you sound more like somebody that never touched a mustang and a R1 either .

@PseudomortalityR1 ummm not rlly guessing most cars only max at 110-130 mph...stock...unless you get an exotic car like a ferrari or somthing, but a little v2-v4 snowmobile engin only weighing about 150 pounds can make you go that fast is amazing, aparently u never rode a fast snomobile before, you try doing 100+ mph on a snowmobile and see how it is...its nothing like being in a car, your bout 6-8 inches from the ground and you could slide or hit something at any moment in time and die...
