"In the mid 1960's, George Barris of Barris Kustom City acquired the car for $1 directly from Ford. (the Futura)
Fast forward to August 1965, the "Batman" TV show producers approached George to have him build a new Batmobile for their upcoming show. The only catch was the car had to be ready for action in a mere three weeks. Seeing the bat-like qualities his Futura already had, George felt it was the perfect answer to the quandary 20th Century Fox had created."

I was actually quoting the subject of the video. If you have something to say about Africa tell it to Edy. But you have to go find him. He doesn't have time for the internet. With brilliant people like yourself all over it. I wonder why.

? whatever. How about better than Africa first and for sure. Have you seen the crap art coming out of that disease infested shit hole called Africa ? God man really be real, romanticize all you want - but that place hasn't put out anything worthy since moses. If you disagree really ? - LOOK AGAIN !

this is so cool, The works must have taken a lot of time to do. But I am also impressed by the humbleness of the artist, Edy Lopez: he talks openly of his dreams, his works, and is laid back, not like most artists today which can become exuberant.
That's what makes of him a great artist too, his humbleness.
Thanks for posting this video.
Big up to all,
Kev
Did he work for George Barris too... because George Barris was supposed to have done the original Batmobile (see next post)
