Ultra rare 10" 78rpm record on MGM Records from 1951 of Tommy Edwards performing "Once There Lived a Fool" with the b-side, the even rarer "A Friend of Johnny's" that was written by Hal Dickinson of The Modernaires (Glenn Miller's Chattanooga Choo Choo) and Alan Copeland.

The b-side has noticeable crackling due to being played after it was signed by both Copeland and Dickinson.

  • Gorgeous song, done by the inimitable Tommy Edwards. Also a nice Tony Bennett version on an LP.
