  • And no, you can't judge the Fuyuki Grail War with the same rules as the Moon Cell ones because the Moon Cell is directly specfied to work differently.

It's a different Holy Grail, with a different summoning system, it's not even situated in the real world, but inside a virtual one. Archer says himself: The Moon Cell Grail War is entirely different, the only similarity to Fuyuki is the concept of Masters, Servants, Command Spells and Classes.

Maybe if you'd actually play the game you'd know that.

  • @Uldihaa It depends on the Noble Phantasm. 5th Berserker was unable to use his because his motor skills were sealed due to the Mad Enhancement being Rank A. 4th Berserker had a skill that allowed him to ignore the mental impairment, but that's just with weapon skills. The game specifies directly - His Noble Phantasm allows him to use several weapon styles, but due to Mad Enchancement he's restricted to two.

  • @LegendPst No, a Berserker can't activate a Noble Phantasm unless said Berserker has an innate ability that reduces the mental effect of Mad Enhancement, such as 4th Grail War Berserker. 5th, in-spite of being semi-divine, was unable to activate his. And why shouldn't I judge this game based on Fuyuki Grail War? This, after all, a Fate/**** game. It should abide by the same rules as those of it's source material. Otherwise it's just a cheap copy.

  • @Uldihaa

A Berserker CAN activate a Noble Phantasm. There are ranks of Mad Enhancement, and a lower rank means more control over your motor skills. Also, abilites like Eternal Arms Mastery allow one to use all his combat tactics even when Mad Enhanced.

The description of God Force is that it's a weapon of multiple functionality, but due to Mad Enhancement, it can only be used as a Bow and a Halberd.

Anyway, you can't apply the rules of the Fuyuki Grail War to the Moon Cell Grail War.

  • @Uldihaa Ah i see. Well im for one is not gonna old it against you. The Nasuverse is so complex that i doubt it would translate well to RPG´s in general, hence why they made Extra take place in another dimension from the usual canon.

  • @Azmodeus87 Finally thought to check the Nasu-wikia. The Berserker I'm talking about is Lu Bu and the Noble Phantasm he uses is God Force. It's striped of most of it's abilities, but he still activates and uses it, something that no Berserker is supposed to be able to do. In other words, he can do it because every other Servant has a NP, so he needs one for game-play reasons. Which is why I'm not getting the game.

  • @Uldihaa Ah ok. Well seeing as this berserker isn´t a heroic spirit per se, but Arcuied, that might have something to do with it.

  • @Azmodeus87 What I meant was this game has a Berserker activating a Noble Phantasm. At the 4 minute mark, it's pretty clear this is a Noble Phantasm being activated and used. That's what made me lose interest.
