I had a pretty good seat again for this game (in the 200s on the home team side). The game was reasonably interesting, but if I was a truly ardent DC United fan I'd be very disappointed since they lost when they could have tied it up.
I used my Canon EOS 7D with a Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 zoom lens. I also put on my Canon 1.4x extender and I had pretty good results...although I could have probably sacrificed some shutter speed for a lower ISO.
I developed the pictures in Adobe Lightroom 3.0 and Photoshop Elements 7.0. I used Topaz Adjust 4.0 and Detail 2.0 and Alienskin's Bokeh plug-ins on some of the pictures. I also ran them through Noiseware 2.0 Standard to cut down on graininess (high ISOs because it was a night game)
